Frequently Asked Questions
How does the RT-90E differ from the RT-70ES?
The RT-90E offers a wider rim range (8"–28" vs 10"–28") and wider width range (up to 20" vs 18"), plus a pedal positioning brake, large cone storage handle and HTD and OPT programmes. Both models have laser and auto-gauge, but the RT-90E is more comprehensive in programmes and ergonomics.
What is the HTD programme?
HTD (Hidden) is used for rim segmentation – it precisely indicates the position behind a spoke where the adhesive weight must be placed invisibly. Essential for alloy wheels with complex geometry.
What is the OPT programme?
OPT (Optimisation) optimises the mutual alignment of tyre and rim to minimise total imbalance. The machine indicates the optimal tyre rotation relative to the rim, reducing the weight needed.
What is the pedal positioning brake for?
The pedal positioning brake stops the wheel exactly at the point where the weight must be fitted and holds it there during mounting, improving accuracy and speeding up work.
Is the protective cover included as standard?
No. The protective cover is optional and not included in the base price.
