The F-Power FPI2000 Diesel Generator is a heavy-duty, three-phase power unit delivering 8.0 kW peak output (400V / 230V), engineered for demanding construction sites, commercial workshops, farms, and comprehensive home backup power. Powered by an economical direct-injection diesel engine with low fuel consumption (approx. 1.5–2.2 L/h), it is coupled with a 100% copper-wound alternator (Copper Winding) that delivers outstanding thermal endurance, superior surge capacity for high-startup motors, and an extended operational lifespan compared to aluminum alternatives. Housed within a fully soundproofed "Silent" canopy, the unit dampens operational noise while shielding components from dust and weather. Four bearing-mounted swivel caster wheels with locking brakes and sturdy transport handles allow effortless mobility for this 160 kg industrial machine.

Sensitive electronics and appliances are fully safeguarded by the integrated Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), maintaining a stable 50 Hz frequency and clean voltage waveform to prevent surges on gas boilers, inverter heat pumps, compressors, and IT gear. The comprehensive control panel includes a heavy-duty 400V CEE 5-pin power outlet for drawing the full 8 kW capacity, two standard 230V Schuko outlets, a 12V DC charging port, and a dedicated multi-pin ATS interface ready for automated transfer switch integration during mains power outages. Starting is handled via an electric key switch or backup manual recoil starter. For whole-facility connection via a single feed, a copper supply cable of at least 6 mm² is recommended.

Is the F-Power FPI2000 generator safe for gas central heating boilers and sensitive electronics?

Yes. The integrated Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) combined with a steady 50 Hz frequency ensures stable power parameters without voltage spikes, making it completely safe for central heating gas boilers, heat pumps, computer systems, and household appliances.

Why is 100% copper alternator winding so crucial?

Copper offers far superior electrical and thermal conductivity compared to aluminum. A copper-wound alternator easily handles high motor inrush currents from compressors and pumps, stays cool under continuous load, and delivers years of reliable service without degradation.

How does the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) feature work?

The generator includes a dedicated multi-pin ATS control port. When wired to an external ATS transfer box at your building distribution board, the system monitors utility grid power, automatically starts the generator upon a blackout, and switches load over seamlessly. Once mains power returns, it shuts the unit down.

What cable size is required for feeding a house through the 400V outlet?

When drawing the full 8 kW power from the 400V CEE outlet to supply a whole building, a copper cable with a minimum conductor cross-section of 5 × 6 mm² is recommended to prevent line voltage drop and overheating.
