ATLANTIC TECHNIK ATC-28 PRO Tyre Changer Machine (leverless) is a professional wheel and tyre mounting machine for passenger cars, SUVs and vans, equipped with a leverless mounting head and an integrated helper arm. Leverless technology lets you mount and demount tyres without a conventional tyre lever, making the job faster, safer and free of rim damage risk, which is essential for low-profile and Run Flat tyres. The rigid construction with a hexagonal S41 mounting shaft resists deformation and delivers reliable operation in high-volume workshops, while plastic protectors on the mounting head keep alloy and painted rims free of scratches.

The turntable clamps rims from 12" to 25" externally and from 15" to 28" internally, handling wheels up to 1140 mm in diameter and tyre widths from 3" to 14". Two turntable speeds let the operator match the pace to the job: slow mode for precision on stiff tyres, fast mode for efficient series work. The helper arm presses down and stabilises the tyre bead, reducing operator effort, and the pneumatic system running at 8-10 bar provides smooth, light control. The 1.1 kW three-phase 400V motor ensures stable and powerful operation in professional tyre shops, and the machine is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

How does a leverless tyre changer differ from a conventional one? +

On a conventional tyre changer the tyre bead is pulled over the rim flange with a tyre lever. On the ATC-28 PRO the leverless head grips and lifts the bead by itself, so no lever is needed. This reduces the risk of scratching alloy and painted rims, speeds up the job and lowers operator effort, especially with low-profile and Run Flat tyres.

Which wheels can the ATC-28 PRO handle? +

The machine clamps rims from 12" to 25" externally and from 15" to 28" internally, handles wheels up to 1140 mm in diameter and tyres from 3" to 14" wide. This covers passenger cars, SUVs and light vans, including low-profile and Run Flat tyres thanks to the helper arm.

What power and air supply does it need? +

The tyre changer requires a three-phase 400V power socket and compressed air at 8-10 bar. We recommend supplying air from a workshop compressor through an air preparation unit (filter with water separator and lubricator), which extends the life of cylinders and valves.

How is the machine delivered and does it require assembly? +

The ATC-28 PRO is delivered in two packages: the machine (1150 x 900 x 1020 mm, 360 kg gross) and the helper arm (1020 x 380 x 350 mm, 112 kg). It ships by pallet freight with tail-lift unloading. The helper arm is mounted onto the machine body, and the unit should be placed on a level concrete floor and secured with anchor bolts.
